2025 - 2026 Multiple Funded PhD and Postdoc Positions
Position Descriptions:
Candidates will conduct research on cutting-edge machine learning (Physics-informed ML, LLM, VLM, Agentic AI) with applications on machine health monitoring, process monitoring and optimization, digital twin for industrial systems, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy systems.
- 1-2 PhD positions with preferable enrollment in Fall 2025 and Winter 2026. Direct PhD application for outstanding applicant with a Bachelor's degree is possible.
- 1-2 Postdoc positions are available immediately for 12 months. Extension of appointment is possible with a maximum 3 years subject to the performance.
- Visiting researchers and exchange students are also welcome. Please email me directly for inquiries.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong background and publications in machine learning, signal processing, or optimization. Postdocs should have strong academic records in the field(s). Relevant fields (e.g., sensing, embedded systems, and other applicable) are also considered.
- Prior programming skills are required (Python, MATLAB, and/or low-level programming language).
